About Mark

For those of you who know Mark and are worried about him:

Around the end of September Mark's health took a serious turn. He started experiencing extreme dizziness and fell on his front steps and hit his head. He stayed in the hospital about 2 weeks while they ran many tests and tried to find out what was going on with him, but nothing conclusive was found. Mark was in a very rough state and struggled to sit up, and could not feed himself. Conversations were almost impossible, even getting simple answers to simple questions. With no more answers to be had, he was moved to rehab facility. To our amazement, Mark started to show much improvement over the course of his stay. Conversation started happening again, and his mobility improved.

So, lots of little improvements and steps in the right direction and he was able to move out of the rehab facility and to shorten the story greatly we come to today at the end of January (2024). Overall, I would say Mark is doing good! He is worlds better than he was when he first went into the hospital, but there is progress to be made if progress will happen. He still experiences memory issues, mainly short-term memory, but still has plenty of stories from the good old days. Mobility is very good mostly.

As a friend and a business colleague, I greatly enjoy visiting Mark and he always expresses gratitude for the company. Mark would love visits or calls for anyone that will take the time. Please contact me about how to visit.

I have taken on running the business and liquidating the inventory for Mark while he is unable. We all hope for continued progress with his health and memory. I have talked to so many about Mark and have been impressed by the outpouring of support, love, and prayers. Please continue all that for the coming days and months.

Thank you,
